From managing assets for the FDIC in the 1980s to developing, owning, and managing approximately $1.2 billion in real estate since 1990, our experience runs deep. Today, our focus is centered on investing in senior housing.

The Finlay Companies are founded
Finlay Companies grow to be among the largest real estate firms in New England offering commercial brokerage, appraisal, and property/asset management.
Finlay Development launches
Finlay Development develops 40 multifamily and senior housing communities, luxury condos, and 20 facilities for the US Postal Service over the next 15 years.
Lloyd Jones Capital is established
Lloyd Jones Capital is established as a private-equity real estate firm, with the goal of acquiring, owning, and operating multifamily and senior housing opportunities.
Lloyd Jones LLC is formed
Lloyd Jones Capital and The Finlay Companies merge, uniting decades of investment, development, and operational expertise under one platform.
Aviva® Senior Living is born
Recognizing a changing environment, Lloyd Jones sells its portfolio of multifamily assets to concentrate exclusively on senior housing. The firm’s senior-living operations subsidiary becomes Aviva® Senior Living.
Lloyd Jones celebrates 46 years
With over 4 decades in the real estate industry, Lloyd Jones is now scaling up and focusing exclusively on senior-living investment opportunities.
